6-1/2 6 Blade PDC Rock Bit Water Drill Bit Coal Mining Drilling Machine
PDC bits are far less expensive than natural diamond bits, but are only suitable for soft to
edium hard formations. After the PDC bit was successfully manufactured and used in the
early 1970s, it has developed rapidly. It can be used with lower drilling pressure and higher
rotational speed, with high drill bit footage and low unit footage cost. Some oilfields in
China use diamond polycrystalline composite sheets to be welded on the scraper, and
good results have also been obtained.
