Therefore, it is very necessary to develop a set of oil drill bit CAD system to realize the parametric drawing of oil drill bit. 1 Overall design of the system The oil drill bit parametric drawing system adopts the functional modular programming method, and divides the whole system into four functional modules: user interface management module, drill bit tooth surface structure design module, database management module, and parametric drawing module. The design of the user interface is realized by the VBA secondary development tool embedded in AutoCAD. The user inputs the relevant parameters of the oil drill bit design through the user interface module to realize man-machine information exchange. The main function of the bit tooth surface structure design module is to complete the complex oil bit design data calculation according to the oil bit design theory. The database management module is a database established by Access 2003 in the form of data tables.
